Tablet and Capsule Disintegration Testing

The manual mode requires the user to lift the basket assembly containing the samples out of the liquid in order to determine when the sample is fully disintegrated.

The end time for each sample is manually logged on the instrument (push of a button) and the test report including individual disintegrating times, statistics and temperature protocol can be printed at the end of the test.

In the Automated System with an automatic detection basket the user doesn't need to raise the basket assembly to check the disintegration. Everything is done automatically from test start to test end. Automated detection of disintegration end point is based on contact of the USP fluted disk with USP stainless steel.
