From sustaining aquatic life to the tight control of wastewater treatment, dissolved oxygen (DO) plays a role in nearly every water quality application.

Topics covered in this webinar:

  • Applications where DO measurement is critically important
  • The evolution of sensor technologies for measuring DO in the field
  • The underlying principles of how the most current optical DO sensors work
  • Real-world examples that demonstrate both the value and limitations of field-based measurements of DO

Join Chris Cushman on October 8, 2019 at 6pm Irish Time, for the live presentation. Register today by simply filling out the form below. The webinar is FREE but advanced registration is required. Even if you are not able to attend it live, once you have registered, the recorded presentation will be sent to you afterwards.

Chris Cushman - YSI Assistant Product Manager, has earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in environmental sciences from Wright State University, with the majority of his coursework and research focused on water quality and groundwater remediation.  He has spent the last 5 years on the Outdoor Water Quality product management team, which oversees YSI’s optical and electrochemical dissolved oxygen (DO) sensors. Chris has used numerous DO-monitoring technologies throughout the course of his career, ranging from laboratory-based BOD sensors to in situ DO sensors used in surface water, groundwater, aquaculture, coastal/estuarine, and wastewater applications.
