Learn more about the two major science, innovation & research events we were part of last week: The Applications of DNA In Science and Industry Conference at the Institute of Technology Tallagh & The Biological Research Society’s annual Research Day at Dublin City University
The past week has been a busy one here at Lab Unlimited – we were present at two very important gatherings of the science, innovation and research community in Ireland:
- The Applications of DNA In Science and Industry Conference at the Institute of Technology Tallaght
- The Biological Research Society’s annual Research Day at Dublin City University
The one-day conference at ITT aimed for companies, which are developing in-house DNA based technology and work with DNA analysis, to examine how DNA technology is evolving and impacting on a range of sectors.
The conference was a great success, with presentations from experts across a variety of fields that provided critical information on the genetic code of humans, animals and microorganisms to over 120+ attendees.
We were also present at DCU for the Biological Research Society’s annual Research Day, showcasing a selection of our consumables & instrumentation portfolio.
In addition to the distinguished key speakers, hundreds of attendees (staff, postdoctoral researchers, postgraduate students) and collaborating institutes came together to celebrate the research and innovation in DCU’s Biotechnology department.
We hope to keep joining forces with great institutions such as DCU & ITT, which contribute to a bigger and better science community in Ireland.
