2018 IAH Conference Offaly: Groundwater Matters

Lab Unlimited will be present at this years International Association of Hydrogeologists (Irish Group) Conference.

“Groundwater Matters: Science and Practice” is the premise for the 2018 International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH Irish Group) Conference. The conference will take place at the Tullamore Court Hotel, on the 24th and 25th of April.

The sessions will be focused on discharge to groundwater abstraction and management of groundwater for the Public and Environment.

Seán Kyne, TD, Minister for Natural Resources will be opening the conference and the keynotes will be addressed by Geoff Parkin (Newcastle University, UK), presenting The Citizen Hydroscientist – Benefits and Challenges for Hydrogeology and John McCray (Colorado School of Mines, USA) talking about Innovations on Engineered Streambeds for Water Quality Enhancement in Urban Streams.
The final day will end with a site-visit to the Ardan wellfield, kindly arranged by Malcom Doak, Irish Water.
