See how you can help fight cancer by taking part in GE’s Breast cancer awareness campaign for October 2018.
Pink October - Breast Cancer Awareness Month – is celebrated worldwide with a million demonstrations of support, from small pink ribbons to huge monuments that are lit in pink.
And once again, GE Healthcare Life Sciences has decided to join forces with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) to help raise funds that will keep fueling cancer research. Last year, the company was able to raise $75,000 for the BCRF. This funds 1,500 hours of revolutionary research into the most common cancer in women worldwide. That’s almost 188 days or nine months.
For 2018, the company has a new amazing goal of $100,000 and over 2,000 hours, which can put everyone that much closer to a cure.
How can you help?
Customers play an important role in helping reach this donation target. For every pack of GE WhatmanTM lab filtration products purchased in the month of October, GE will give $1 to BCRF in New York.
