These Antigen Tests are an in-vitro immunochromatographic assay for the detection of antigens from COVID-19. The rapid tests use a nasal swab, are easy to use, self-tests with results that are produced in just 15 minutes. The lateral flow test can detect wild and mutant variants of COVID-19, including Omicron.

The Antigen Tests are UK Government and EU approved lateral flow tests that are compliant with a QR code and unique reference. These tests are available for next day dispatch and have a 98% accuracy when the rapid test is completed correctly. The swab used in the antigen test is less invasive as they only go 2cm up the nasal passage.

Antigen Test Clinical Performance:

A total of 237 fresh nasal swab samples were collected and tested, which includes 109 positive samples and 128 negative samples. The coronavirus Ag Rapid Test Cassette (Swab) results were compared to results of USFDA Emergency Use Authorized RT-PCR assays for SARS-CoV-2 in Nasopharyngeal swab specimens. Overall study results are shown in table below.
