The Heat Seal PierceASeal Foil PS is a peelable heat-sealing foil that is resealable, pierceable, suitable for compound storage and seals to polystyrene plates. This heat seal foil roll is 500m x 115mm and is sterile. The heat sealing has a 100% effectiveness method of plate sealing for complete seal integrity and it is also quick and cost effective. It produces a strong seal to polystyrene plates and is also compatible with polypropylene plates. The heat seal has moderate solvent resistance and can be used for low temperature compound storage in DMSO or organic solvents. It is also suitable for short term room temperature storage. The heat-sealing foil can be pierced with a pipette tip, liquid handling robot or removed by peeling from polystyrene only. It can be easily resealed by applying another Polystyrene Foil Heat Seal on top of the pierced seal.
