These compound microscopes incorporate maximum ergonomic function in every aspect of the mechanical set up. The stand meets all requirements for an effortless operation for a long amount of time and the sturdy stage has extended travel for the safe and fast throughput of samples. The eye-pieces guarantee fatigue free viewing for a prolonged period of time as the viewing angle and extended interpupillary distance increases how user friendly the compound microscope is.
The rackless stage allows convenient movement of the X/Y stage without gear rack interference. A new spring-loaded specimen holder has a soft yet solid grip on the glass slides to enhance user safety in educational environments like schools and universities. The biological microscope includes ergonomic drop-down coaxial controls for convenient 'eyes down' operation. The stage range of movement is 80mm x 55mm.
The EC Plan Achromat objectives by Motic is a new price-performance standard in optical quality. These biological microscopes have outstanding spherical aberration correction to improve field flatness and resolution and the EC optics offer colour fidelity through a new multi-later coated lens. There is a reduced risk in contamination due to the increased working distances when changing from oil to dry lenses.
LEDs play a huge part in the safety and long-term illumination of compound microscopes but there is still a preference with more experienced users for the ‘warm’ Halogen illumination which has long wavelengths. Motic have tackled this issue by implementing a full interchangeability between its Halogen and LED light sources. The BA310E comes with a standard 6V/30W bulb but the lamp socket will also accept a new LED module which can be inserted instead.
